Kevin Hart hospitalised with major back injury after car crash

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart suffered major back injuries in a car crash on early Sunday morning. The driver, Hart's friend Jared Black, lost control over the car, a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, the California police reported.

The accident occurred not far away from Hart's home in Calabasas, California. Besides Kevin Hart and the driver, there was another passenger in the car. According to reports, the actor managed to get out of the vehicle and made his way to his house to call an ambulance.

The police declared that Black hadn't been under the influence of alcohol. Hart and his friend both suffered "major back injuries" and were taken to two different hospitals. The third passenger, Black's fiancée Rebecca Broxterman, was unhurt.
