Dublin International Screenwriting Festival to take place next week
"It All Starts With A Script": The highly anticipated celebration of Irish and international screenwriting will take place from 5th to 11th September online and at Griffith College.
Dublin International Screenwriting Festival is Ireland's first festival dedicated to the craft of screenwriting. Workshops, panel sessions, keynote interviews and networking events will take place from 5th to 11th September online and at Griffith College to foster the culture of screenwriting in Ireland.
Organised by festival directors Daniel Hegarty, Gavin Ryan and a dedicated team, the exciting line-up features some of the best screenwriting talent from Ireland and beyond. Highlights include a masterclass from Jeb Stuart, the writer of Die Hard, The Fugitive and The Netflix/MGM hit series, Vikings - Valhalla, and a conversation with the creator of 2021 hit series Kin and Hidden Assets, Peter McKenna.
There's still time to sign up for @DublinISF 'In conversation with Jeb Stuart' & hear from the celebrated screenwriter of Die Hard, The Fugitive, and creator & showrunner of Vikings: Valhalla on Mon, 5 September 2022 at 4pm @griffithcollege

But that's not all - the commissioners and funders from RTE, Virgin and Screen Ireland will take part in the event and screenwriting agents are going to advice young talent on how to get represented. Saturday will also feature a social, "so we can meet up and have the craic," according to the official website.
Don't miss out on the fun. See the full programme here.
