Devonté Hynes releases soundtrack for In Treatment on HBO
The R&B singer has taken his talents to television with this new soundtrack album.
A new soundtrack from the HBO show In Treatment – created by Devonté Hynes – has been released. Hynes is best known for his work as the driving force behind the hugely popular alternative/indie act Blood Orange.
The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning show that previously starred Gabriel Byrne in the lead role returned for a fourth season with Uzo Aduba as the new main character.
Its soundtrack, created entirely by Hynes, covers the whole of this new season – which just finished airing in the United States. An Irish release date is still to be announced, with previous seasons available on-demand from Sky and NowTV.
However, fans of the show can get ready by listening to the new album.
Blood Orange recently played the first full capacity indoor gig in New York City since the COVID-19 pandemic began, supporting The Strokes. He joined the iconic band onstage for a stripped-back version of 'One Way Trigger' from their fifth album, Comedown Machine.
The show was a fundraiser for mayoral candidate Maya Wiley, who was bidding to become the first female mayor of The Big Apple. Eric Adams is currently in the lead in the race, with votes still being counted.
