Daniel Kaluuya in talks to star in new, untitled Jordan Peele project
The cast already includes 'Hustlers' star Keke Palmer.
Get Out and Black Panther star Daniel Kaluuya is in talks with Jordan Peele to reunite for Peele's upcoming project.
The British actor played Chris is Peele's debut feature in 2017, and was subsequently nominated for an Academy Award for his performance.
Details of the film, which is set for a July 22, 2022 release date, are being kept heavily under wraps. However, Deadline has confirmed that Keke Palmer has already been cast, that Peele has finished writing the script, and will be acting as director and producer of the highly-anticipated new film.
Kaluuya's most recent turn as Fred Hampton in Judas and The Black Messiah is already generating awards buzz for the actor. The film features in our 'Hot For 2021' films. Of the Shaka King-helmed movie, Roe McDermott writes: "This story of America’s historical fear of Black empowerment feels depressingly prescient."
