Arctic Monkeys to hit The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon stage
The group are in New York for their intimate “phone-free” concert at the 3,000-capacity Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, tonight, September 22.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is set to play host to Arctic Monkeys - with the airing date yet to be announced.
After recent performances at Primavera Sound Los Angeles and Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas, the band are in New York to perform an intimate phone free show at a low capacity venue.
AM’s percussionist and drum tech, Davey Latter, shared news of the band's appearance through his Instagram Stories feed on Tuesday (September 20).
Sharing a behind-the-scenes image from the set, the percussionist wrote: “Tomorrow night, Fallon, Tune in.”
However, Arctic Monkeys didn't feature on last night’s instalment, instead, they have apparently pre-recorded a performance for a later show - with the air date yet to be announced.
The show is likely to see Arctic Monkeys give their new single ‘There’d Better Be A Mirrorball’ its television debut.
Their performance is filmed today, but it will air SOON, not tonight! https://t.co/2SIJwDAVDb
