Woman arrested after shots fired at Rihanna’s house
No one was injured in the incident.
A woman has been arrested after firing numerous shots into Rihanna's Beverly Hills home on Sunday, March 8, with one round going through a wall of the house.
The Los Angeles police spokesperson reported that authorities responded to the shooting at 1.21PM on Sunday and detained a 30-year-old suspect.
No one was injured in the incident. According to the Los Angeles Times, Rihanna was in the mansion at the time. The newspaper cited police radio traffic that "approximately 10 shots" had been fired from a vehicle across the street from the property’s gate.
The singer lives in the house with her partner, A$AP Rocky, and their three children. She has not publicly commented on the shooting.
Last September the star gave birth to her daughter. The couple announced the pregnancy at last year's Met Gala.
The 2025 baby news came after A$AP Rocky was found not guilty of firing a gun at a former friend, Terell Ephron. The trial saw Rihanna bring her two sons to court. Read more here.
Rihanna hasn't released any music since 2022's 'Lift Me Up' and 'Born Again', written for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film soundtrack. She's currently working on multiple businesses, including her makeup range Fenty Beauty and lingerie company Savage X Fenty.
As of late February, the singer confirmed she is back in the studio, working on her new album. The record will mark Rihanna's first release since 2016's Anti.
