We'll All Still Be Here to take over Smock Alley this weekend for First Fortnight Festival
Attendees are encouraged to come and go as they please with this immersive and evolving sound experience.
We’ll All Still Be Here returns to the First Fortnight Festival for a performance at Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin on January 14.
Led by Sam Armstrong, the show sees a cycling cast of musicians play improvised music for the entirety of the 7 hour event, which kicks off at midday. Each movement changes every hour and has a distinctly different sonic palette.
A microphone is placed at the front of the stage, with audience members encouraged to come up and take the spotlight.

“Somebody might come up and read a poem, speak of a reoccurring dream or about their mental health,” First Fortnight CEO Maria Fleming told Hot Press. “I’d encourage people to come along and stay for an hour, but if you want to stay for 10 minutes, go away and come back again, then the clue is in the title, we'll all still be here!”
Booking is not required and admission is free.
Now in it's 13th iteration, this year's First Fortnight Mental Health Arts & Culture Festival runs until January 14, with events taking place across Ireland. Visit www.firstfortnight.ie for more information on events, scheduling, ticketing and more.
