Watch: Teaser Trailer For Elton John Biopic Rocketman

The first trailer for the highly anticipated Elton John biopic Rocketman has just been released. The film will follow John's early years as a performer at the Royal Academy Of Music through his heyday in the seventies.

Taron Egerton (Eddie The Eagle, Legend ) plays the iconic performer and is seen in the clip sporting some of Johns most famous outfits, hairdos and of course, glasses, that he wore down through the decades.

Elton John announced a three year long farewell tour this year, and the film is set to hit our screens in May 2019. Watch the clip below
