Watch: The First Teaser For Netflix's The Society

Netflix has released a teaser for The Society, a new tv series that will premiere on Netflix on 10 May.

The Society is the story of a group of young adults who find themselves transported to a town in New England (New Ham) that is, in every way, identical to the town in which they grew up. Only now, they are alone – both in the town and on the edge of a vast continent that seems very much like what the first Europeans might have called the “New World.”

The Society is a modern retelling of the Lord of the Flies tale – this time with near-adults and with no magic to save them. They will either succeed by remaking the social order or they will perish by each other’s hands.

The cast includes Rachel Keller, Kathryn Newton, Alex Fitzalan, Kristine Froseth, Jacques Colimon, Sean Berdy, Toby Wallace, and Gideon Adlon.

Olivia DeJonge, Alex MacNicoll, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jose Julian, Salena Qureshi, Jack Mulhern, and Grace Victoria Cox also star.

The 10-episode first season will arrive on Netflix next month.
