WATCH: Extended Twin Peaks Trailer Keeps Fans Guessing
95-second trailer being shown in theatres features mysterious new clip
The rebooted Twin Peaks has been airing for seven weeks to critical acclaim and fan approval.
It has baffled and intrigued in equal measure, with those reactions likely to continue as an extended trailer is viewed by audiences.
Deputy FBI Director Gordon Cole receiving a phone call is the only new element presented in a new version of the "It Is Happening Again" trailer.
The two-second snippet features Cole answering with three simple words that just might become a viral catchphrase: "It is Cole".
A video of the trailer courtesy of Stan Australia is featured on the series' Twitter feed to keep fans satisfied ahead of the hiatus beginning on July 4.
Similarly the official site welcometotwinpeaks.com has remodelled its intro page to show the sleeping girl introduced in the finale of Part 8.
This is accompanied by a countdown to the airing of the next episode with the words "drink full and descend", part of the hypnotic chant of the Woodsman in the same episode.
Part 9 of Twin Peaks airs on July 10.
