The early reactions and Reviews to Dunkirk are in
Both the film and the performance of Harry Styles get a glowing reception so far.
Christopher Nolan's hotly anticipated war epic Dunkirk was screened to critics and some lucky fans last night . Now , Many of the these early reviewers has gone online and shared their opinions on the upcoming blockbuster, with the majority of them sounding highly positive so far.
Mostly people see it as front to back, unbearably tense thrill ride that is deeply respectful of its subject matter. in a series of tweets, Steven Weintraub of Colllider.com called it "edge of your seat film-making" and maintained that while Harry Styles was good, its about so much more than just him:
Dunkirk is edge of your seat filmmaking that’s fully realized in @IMAX. Can honestly say I’ve never seen anything like it. See this in IMAX! pic.twitter.com/7F10lnBB5U

A lot of people were wondering about @harry_styles & unknown cast. They’re all great but Dunkirk is not about any one solider. pic.twitter.com/L1mHj1Uwxa

Erik Davis, managing editor of Fandango magazine, was equally awestruck
#Dunkirk is chaotic, relentless, thrilling & one of the most captivating movies you will see this year. A master class in craft. What a ride pic.twitter.com/7PUxG71KKZ

And we can also confirm that Harry Styles has a film career ahead of him if he wants it. #Dunkirk

Some note how this is a departure for Nolan's style, with less dialogue and more power given to the images .
#Dunkirk packs a wallop but VERY different Nolan movie. Def see on IMAX. Tom Hardy has 10 lines & is amazing. Harry Styles can act people!!! pic.twitter.com/uyG6rR0NV1

DUNKIRK: intense! 3 intercutting stories on 3 time frames. Almost a silent film, w/ incredible score. May be divisive. I LOVED. See 70mm! pic.twitter.com/E6Xga21Skm
