The festival at North Wall Quay, will see The Blizzards, Tolü Makay, Bradley Marshall, and Katie Phelan set to perform at New Year's Festival Dublin.

They will be joined by acts such as Dara Quilty's Bangers, RTÉ 2FM’s Emma Power, Kingfishr and Rachel Mae Hannon.

Across the two-day event, the festival village will also play host to Gavin James, Lyra and Brad Heidi, with celebration concluding on New Year’s Day with celebration in Temple Bar’s Meeting House Square.

Westlife’s headline performance will take place between 8pm - 11pm, with The Blizzards, Tolü Makay, Bradley Marshall, Dara Quilty's Bangers, 2FM’s Emma Power, Katie Phelan, Kingfishr and Rachel Mae Hannon taking the Midnight Family Matinee slot between 4pm- 7pm.

Catherine Martin TD, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, has said of the festival’s return, “I am very pleased that NYF Dublin will return this year with a full programme of arts, music and events taking place in Dublin City across New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.”

"This is the first full-scale New Year’s Festival to take place in the capital since 2019 and is a flagship event for the Winter in Dublin campaign, which will encourage domestic and international visitors to celebrate in Dublin this New Year’s."

Expressing their delight in being included in the festival’s line-up, Westlife have said, “2022 has been an incredible year for us, seeing so many of our fans from around the world up close and personal, but there is always something extra special about a home crowd, so as we head into 2023 let’s do the countdown together, in style, at Dublin’s New Year’s Festival Dublin. It’s going to be an unforgettable party.”

This is the event’s return since the beginning of the covid pandemic in 2019.
