Star Wars Live Stream Event on Twitter

Star Wars fanatics are in for a treat.Twitter has teamed up with Disney and People magazine to live steam an exclusive special ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' event with a behind-the-scenes sneak peek from the hugely anticipated new movie on Friday.

The live coverage of the event, which will start on Friday, 2 December at 10am Pacific Time, can be found at RogueOne.Twitter.Com and through @Starwars, or @people.
“People come to Twitter to see what’s happening in the entertainment world, and the conversation about movies, especially Star Wars, is constant on Twitter,” said Anthony Noto, COO at Twitter.
“Our collaboration with Disney and People will give fans fresh and exciting live Star Wars content that they can view and Tweet about all on the same platform."

Ricky Strauss, President, Marketing of The Walt Disney Studios said teaming up with Twitter was an ideal match because “Disney and Lucasfilm are always seeking out innovative ways to tell great stories and engage with fans around the world.”
He added, “We’re thrilled to join forces with Twitter and People to create this can’t-miss ‘Rogue One’ event that gives Star Wars fans a behind-the-scenes peek at one of the most talked-about movies of the year.”
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will hit US cinemas on 16 December.
