Sigrid shares new single 'Burning Bridges', announces 3Arena Dublin gig
'Burning Bridges' follows May single ‘Mirror’, and was remixed by Kelly Lee Owens.
Norwegian pop sensation Sigrid has shared her brand new single 'Burning Bridges' alongside announcing details of her biggest-ever tour of the UK, Ireland and Europe.
“It’s inspired by one of the toughest things I’ve been through,” Sigrid said of the new song in a press release. “It’s a song that’s about the point where you just have to say in a relationship, ‘you know what, let’s just finish this’. That moment when enough is enough, and you need a clean break.”
In 2017, Sigrid released her debut EP, Don't Kill My Vibe, and later won the BBC Music Sound of 2018. Her rise to fame went stratospheric after her single 'Strangers' was released, followed by her electro-pop debut studio album, Sucker Punch.
The 24-year-old artist, real name Sigrid Solbakk Raabe, is set to perform at Reading & Leeds Festival this weekend (August 27-29) and will play a warm-up show at London’s Lafayette tonight.
Sigrid will play a trio of dates in the UK in March 2022 – including a gig at the SSE Arena Wembley in London – before heading to Dublin for a show in the 3Arena on March 18.
The singer will then play a number of gigs in Europe at the end of May and into June, concluding with a date at La Cigale in Paris on June 13.
