Rolling Stones TV series in the works
The production company behind Netflix's 'The Crown' will produce the show.
A new scripted biographical TV series about the Rolling Stones is coming to American cable network FX, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Nick Hornby, the author behind High Fidelity, will pen the script, while Left Bank, the production company behind The Crown, is set to produce. The show doesn't have a title yet, but FX has reportedly commissioned two seasons. Both seasons will cover the band's early years, from their beginning to 1972.
Recently, the Stones shared a previously unreleased collaborations with Jimmy Page called 'Scarlet,' as well as remixes of the track by the Killers and the War on Drugs. The band also released 'Living in a Ghost Town' in April, their first new material since 2016.
