Hot Press is looking for people of real calibre both (a) to lead our advertising sales, partnerships and sponsorship team as Advertising, Partnership & Sponsorship Sales Manager and (b) to join the wider team. This is a really exciting opportunity for people with sales ability and the ambition to make their mark in the entertainment and media industry in Ireland.
For almost 50 years, Hot Press has been at the cutting edge of Irish media development, establishing a reputation as one of the leading entertainment and music publications in the world. Hot Press built its reputation as one of Ireland’s most important and influential media brands, helping to change and modernise Ireland. And we’re still at it!
The business has expanded and grown in recent times to encompass all things digital; social media platforms; events, sponsorships, TV and video productions; Podcasts, additional magazine titles, books, education – and lots more besides.
As we begin activities celebrating Hot Press' 50th Anniversary we have some extremely exciting plans and developments.
To take advantage of the rising tide, we are looking for someone of exceptional sales ability, who will:
– Continue to develop our sales with leading advertising agencies and clients, provide solutions, leverage relationships and deliver results!
– Contribute directly to the rapid growth and development of sales and sponsorship revenues across all of our activities.
– Help to develop fresh ideas and platforms which will enhance the success of the company.
Candidates for this vital role should ideally have:
- – Proven sales know-how and ability
- – Media and media industry knowledge
- – An awareness of the importance of meeting targets
- – The ability to come up with ideas and to innovate
- – The drive to really contribute to the future development of an exciting media business
- – The attitude required to work effectively as part of a team
- – The independence necessary to take on personal responsibility for clients
- – An understanding of the role of the internet and social media in a wider promotional mix
- – The imagination to come up with new ideas and concepts
- – The commitment to get the hard work done
