New Season Of The Tommy Tiernan Show Premieres Saturday Night

Actor and comedian Tommy Tiernan is back with his unique chat show. As always, Tiernan- and the rest of us- have no idea who the guests will be until they walk onto the stage. Tiernan's off the cuff interviews have proved very successful and he promises that he will "continue to work without a safety net" in the latest season.

Memorable guest from past seasons have included singer Christy Dignam, actress and writer Sharon Horgan and model Vogue Williams. Tune in to The Tommy Tiernan Show this Saturday, at 9:35pm on RTÉ One to see what's in store for season three.

After releasing his stand-up live show Under the Influence on DVD last year, Tiernan had a chat with Aoife Bradshaw for Hot Press about his approach to comedy, explaining "It has to be vulnerable. And you make mistakes because you’re vulnerable, but you also make fantastic discoveries. That’s part of the attraction.
