Best Personal Moment?
My granddaughter Bonnie O’Reilly scoring 1 goal and 2 points for Templeogue Synge Street in an under 12s football game.
Best Movie or TV show?
Pachinko. Even though it’s subtitled, which sometimes can be annoying, I found myself totally drawn into the characters and story.
Best record?
Niall McCabe’s Rituals. A beautiful album and great live performer too.
Best book?
East Of Eden by John Steinbeck. I finally got around to reading it. A real classic!
Best thing you saw online?
A recipe for some great scones. I find the internet great for finding new recipes.
Your hope for next year?
I know it sounds clichéd, but we all want peace around the world.
What tickled your funnybone?
I watched Dirty Rotten Scoundrels again and laughed louder than I have in a long while.
Mary Black plays the 3Olympia, Dublin on Friday, February 14.
