Arts and culture organisations to receive over €200,000
The total funding will be distributed between eight organisations across the country
The government has announced €228,065 in capital grants for arts and culture organisations across Ireland.
The funding will be shared between eight organisations to help upgrade and improve their facilities.
The grants are being provided through Stream E of the Culture Capital Scheme, which is part of a wider €1.4 million investment programme aimed at supporting arts and cultural centres around the country.
Speaking about the funding, Minister O’Donovan said the Government recognises the importance of culture and the arts in society.
“Culture and the arts provide opportunities for education, creativity and community engagement,” he said. “Investing in arts and culture facilities helps make the arts more accessible in local communities and supports these centres for future generations.”

- Black Church Print Studio in Dublin
- Blue Teapot Theatre Company in Galway
- Linenhall Arts Centre in Mayo
- Rothe House Trust t/a Rothe House & Garden in Kilkenny
- Sirius Arts Centre in Cork
- Temple Bar Gallery & Studios in Dublin
- The Moat Club t/a The Moat Theatre in Kildare
- Wexford Arts Centre
