Lana Del Rey donates "every dollar" made from ticket sales back to the cities she performed in
The singer admits "I tour because I love it… I don’t need to. I just love it"
During her show in West Virginia on October 5, American singer/songwriter, Lana Del Rey, informed her fans that she had donated all the money earned from ticket sales during her recent tour to the cities where she performed.
“I just wanted to say thank you to you and just every city I’ve gone to before this…every ticket, every dollar, it is poured right back into the city,” she explained.
“It’s not about [the money] for me,” the 'Summertime Sadness' singer continues. “I know that sounds cheesy, but I tour because I love it… I don’t need to. I just love it, and we’re all about the places we’ve been to.”
