John Oliver adds his voice to The Lion King remake
Oliver will take on the role of Zazu in the 2019 live-action film.
The English host of Last Week Tonight will be joining the cast of Jon Favreau's live-action/CGI remake of the Disney classic. Oliver has already lent his voice to a number of animated shows and movies, from The Simpsons to The Smurfs, so he should be well prepared to take on the voice of Zazu in The Lion King.
Other cast members of the film include Donald Glover as Simba, Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner as Pumbaa and Timon, and James Earl Jones as Mufasa.

Just don’t get too excited, as the wait will be rather long with a scheduled release date of 19 July 2019.
