John C. Reilly to bring Mister Romantic show to Dublin's Ambassador Theatre
Tickets go on sale this week
American actor John C. Reilly has announced that he will bring his Mister Romantic show to Dublin’s Ambassador Theatre on November 20, 2025.
The critically-acclaimed vaudeville show is backed by a band of multi Grammy winners Davíd Garza, Charles De Castro, David Piltch and Gabe Witcher.
Mister Romantic is said to “invite you to an experience of love, laughter and longing as he sings you sweet melodies from the Great American Songbook and beyond,” according to the show’s official description.
What’s Not to Love?, the show’s accompanying album, is out now on Eternal Magic Recordings.

Over the course of his career, which kicked off in 1989 with his debut Casualties of War, Reilly has collaborated with various cinema heavyweights such as Paul Thomas Anderson on Hard Eight, Boogie Nights and Magnolia, Martin Scorsese on Gangs of New York and The Aviator, and Robert Altman for A Prairie Home Companion.
He is also known for his comedic work with Adam McKay on Step Brothers and Talladega Nights, while also blending his musical and comedic talents in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.
In 2025, he is set to to appear in A Prayer for the Dying, Dara Van Dusen’s adaptation of Stewart O’Nan’s novel, as well as the legendary Buffalo Bill in Testa O Croce, a film directed by Italian filmmakers Alessio Rigo de Righi and Matteo Zoppis.
Tickets for John C. Reilly’s Mister Romantic show in Dublin's Ambassador Theatre are priced €50.85 and €60.85 and go on sale this Friday, September 26 here.
