Jodie Comer comes to Dublin with one-woman play Prima Facie, set for January
Comer has earned Olivier and Tony Awards for her role as Tessa in the play.
Jodie Comer will return with her one-woman play Prima Facie, coming to Dublin in January.
The production will run from January 27-31 at the Gaiety Theatre. Tickets go on sale March 25 at 10 a.m. The actress will also perform across the UK until March.
Written by Suzie Miller and directed by Justin Martin, the play follows a young lawyer named Tessa. An “unexpected event” changes things, forcing her to “confront the lines where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof, and morals diverge."
"It is a huge privilege to return to Prima Facie for one last time and take this important play on tour across the UK & Ireland,” said Comer. “The resonance of Suzie Miller's writing, both in London and New York, exceeded anything we could have imagined."
The actress earned an Olivier and Tony award for her performance in Prima Facie in 2023. She also garnered acclaim for her role in the television series Killing Eve.
"It is a huge privilege to return to Prima Facie for one last time,” said Comer. “I can't think of a better finale to what has been such an incredible and deeply rewarding chapter in my life.”
Tickets will be available here.
