Jennifer Aniston Reveals Why Friends Reunion Would Never Work
FANS of the popular US sitcom Friends will certainly be disheartened to hear that Jennifer Aniston feels a reunion movie or TV show will never happen.
There’s been persistent whispers of a Friends reunion movie for years. But Jennifer – who played Rachel in the popular comedy TV show that aired for 10 years from 1994 until 2004 – has put the nail in the coffin of a possible reunion by explaining that Friends wouldn’t work in today’s age of social media.
“There was something about a time when our faces weren’t shoved into cell phones and we weren’t checking Facebook and Instagram. We were in a room together, or in a coffee shop together and we’ve lost that,” the Hollywood star told ITV’s Lorraine Kelly on her chat show yesterday
It echoes comments made earlier this year by the co-creator of Friends, Marta Kauffman, who said that they wouldn’t never make a reunion movie.
