Wonder Woman 2 gets a release date

After shattering box office records, grossing more than $389 million in U.S. box offices, Gal Gadot will be returning to the big screen in Wonder Woman 2.

During last week's San Diego Comic Con, the sequel-in-progress was revealed with a release date of December 13, 2019. While the first Wonder Woman took place in WWI era, the sequel is supposedly set in the 1980's.

In the meantime, Gadot will join the cast of Justice League in November as Diana Prince, alongside Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher.
