Nintendo announces NX Release Date
Nintendo has announced the release date for their upcoming console, nicknamed NX
Nintendo's newest console, codenamed 'NX,' will be released globally in March 2017.
Nintendo's current unit, the Wii, has been far from their most successful venture. The Wii U has sold a measly 13 million units worldwide, which is a pathetic follow up to the original Wii's 100 million units sold worldwide.
Now Nintendo is setting out on a new, hopefully more successful, investment. The new console, currently codenamed NX until its official name is released, will launch with a new Legend of Zelda game. In case you are hesitant to buy the new system, the game will be launching on the Wii U system as well.
The video game company has also announced developing Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing apps.
The 'NX' will not be featured at E3.
