Grammys 2021 full line-up to include Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift
“Artists will be coming together, while still safely apart, to play music for each other as a community and celebrate the music that unites us all,” the Recording Academy said of the performers.
The Recording Academy has revealed the full performer line-up for this year’s Grammy Awards, featuring Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, BTS, Cardi B and Taylor Swift.
The show is set to be hosted by comedian and Daily Show host Trevor Noah, and is scheduled to air on Sunday, March 14th on CBS.
This year's performers also include Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Maren Morris, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch - with Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Mickey Guyton, Haim, Lil Baby and Megan Thee Stallion confirmed as first time performers.
BTS technically performed last year, but only appeared briefly to add to Lil Nas X’s 'Old Town Road' slot. Roddy Ricch performed for the first time last year, but as part of a group tribute to Nipsey Hussle.
Irish band Fontaines D.C. are nominated in the Best Rock Album category for A Hero's Death.
The annual awards ceremony had been being postponed from January over safety concerns due to the pandemic.
There will be a mix of live and pre-recorded performances for COVID-19 safety purposes, but executive producer Ben Winston has stated he aims to make the whole show feel as live as possible. Unusually, the show will not be taking place at LA's Staples Centre.
The ceremony will be available to stream in real-time on Paramount+, where it will also be accessible on demand.
