Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice, Orla Gartland, NewDad, whenyoung & more to perform livestream tonight for Women's Aid

Limerick alternative-indie band whenyoung have announced a St. Patrick's Day livestream show tonight with all proceeds going towards Women's Aid.

Joining the steadily rising Irish outfit - comprised of Aoife Power, Niall Burns and Andrew Flood - are fellow indie kids NewDad, Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice, Orla Gartland, Hot Press Hot for 2021 act Gavin DaVinci, Video Blue, folk musician Brigid Mae Power and Dave Phelan (AKA Low Fidelity Section).

With a brilliant line-up, the artists will be hoping to raise funds to combat the issue of domestic abuse.

Developing their sound with a DIY approach after moving to Dublin, whenyoung relocated London in 2017 to continue their journey. 2018 saw the group perform as part of Shane McGowan's 60th birthday celebration alongside the likes Nick Cave and Sinead O'Connor, as well as supporting the likes of Dream Wife, Declan McKenna, The Vaccines and Peace. They dropped their debut EP 'Given Up' that same year, followed by 2019's excellent 'Reasons to Dream'. 2020 saw them release brand new track, 'The Prayer' - with a big 2021 ahead.
