Electric Picnic announce Comedy Arena line-up featuring Dara Ó Briain

Electric Picnic have announced the Comedy Arena line-up for 2025. It features big names such as Dara Ó Briain, Foil Arms and Hog and Jarlath Regan, in addition to emerging comedians.
According to a statement on Electric Picnic's website, "If comedy is the means to deal with a world in crisis, then the Comedy Tent at this year’s Electric Picnic will provide bucket loads of succor for these troubled times we find ourselves living in right now. A myriad of mirth, mayhem, mischief and comedic delight is in store."

Bray's Dara Ó Briain will be performing at the comedy tent on Saturday August 30.
He has had success performing stand-up shows all over the world and was the host of numerous shows including Mock the Week, The Panel and The Apprentice: You're Fired!.
Ó Briain was nominated for a BAFTA in 2012 for his work on Mock the Week.
Irish sketch comedy group Foil Arms and Hog will perform their only Irish festival show of the year at Electric Picnic. The trio have amassed 1.13 million subscribers on YouTube by posting weekly comedy sketch videos.
Additionally, the group have performed at numerous live shows including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Also taking the stage is comedian, writer, illustrator and podcaster, Jarlath Regan.
He began his comedy career in 2003 and was a finalist for three comedy awards: So You Think You're Funny, BBC New Comedy Awards and the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year.
Moreover, he is the host of the An Irishman Abroad podcast and has performed a variety of live shows.
The comedy tent, located near the main stage on the lawns of Stradbally estate, will be open on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31.
