Ed Sheeran rumoured to appear in Beatles comedy
Ed Sheeran is rumoured to been cast in a new comedy musical directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire, The Beach) and written by Richard Curtis (Notting Hill, Love Actually, Blackadder).
In addition to an on-screen appearance, Sheeran has also possibly been asked to write new music for the film, which tells the story of a busker who wakes up one day as the only person on the planet who remembers The Beatles. The working title is understood to be "All You Need is Love".
Ed Sheeran is known to be a big fan of The Beatles, owning a guitar given to him by Sir Paul McCartney, following Sheeran's cover of the Beatles' 'In My Life' at the 2014 Grammys ceremony.
Previously, Sheeran has appeared in an episode of Game of Thrones, The Bastard Executioner, The Simpsons, Bridget Jones' Baby, Undateable and Home and Away.
