Cruise's thriller 'Mena' delayed and renamed
Tom Cruise stars along side Irish Actor Domhnall Gleeson in upcoming true story drug thriller.
The film, originally named ‘Mena’, has now been given a new title: ‘American Made’.
This gritty true-crime story stars Cruise as real life pilot and drug dealer Barry Seal, a central figure in the CIA-sanctioned cocaine import/weapons export smuggling between Central America and Arkansas during the 1980s Iran-Contra affair. Gleeson plays his handler, Monty Schafer.
The movie has been the subject of much coverage in the media, due to the tragedy that occurred when two pilots working on the film were killed in an air crash accident in Colombia.
