Calling All Zombies: The Third Wave Needs Undead Extras
The zombie apocalypse is coming to Dublin. Irish director David Freyne is looking for extras to play infected zombies in his new movie The Third Wave. The film is scheduled to shoot from November to December of this year. Those interested in participating can report to Filmbase, Temple Bar, this Saturday November 5. There will be seven thirty-minute workshops available starting at 10:15.
The film is set six years after a zombie virus has ravaged Europe. When a cure for the virus is found, many former zombies are able to reenter into society. But many are still terrified and angry at the recovered victims due to the violence they committed under control of the virus. Juno star Ellen Page plays a leading role, alongside Irish actor Sam Keely.
