Brighton alt rockers ARXX announce Irish tour

Brighton-based, alt-rock band ARXX have detailed plans to return to Ireland following their support slot with Pillow Queens.

The duo will visit Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Kilkenny on the jaunt. The epic news lands ahead of the release of their debut album Ride or Die, which drops on March 31st.

ARXX is the dual effort of Hanni and Clara, some of UK's most promising up-and-coming talents. A queer garage-rock team, their arrival in Ireland is eagerly awaited by those familiar with their indie-pop,alt-rock anthems laden with catchy lyrics.

The band tweeted out, promoting the tour, saying that "It's the moment we, ARXX, have been waiting for. We never wanted to leave and now we're coming back!"

That isn't to say that the duo are new to the music scene. ARXX have been around since 2017,  previously releasing EPs, like Deep, Wrong Girl, Honey, and Daughters of Daughters.

Singles like 'Call Me Crazy' have proven incredibly popular, leading to collaborations with Katie Tavini (Arlo Parks) and Steven Ansell (Blood Red Shoes).

ARXX's song 'Deep' even featured on BBC One for the Match of The Day of the Euros in 2021.

They'll taking Ireland by storm with Ride or Die on their upcoming tour. Previously touring throughout Europe and the UK, they appeared at events like BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, Great Escape, Icebreaker, and Left Of The Dial.

They also headlined at House of Vans Next Era show, supporting Black Honey, Liz Lawrence, and Pillow Queens on their UK Headline Tours.
