Blood Red Shoes - An Animal

The Brighton-based duo are easily one of indie-rock’s most consistent outfits these days and ‘An Animal’ continues the twosome’s trend of producing potent three-minute singles. Scaling back on the Hot Snakes influences this time around and going for a looser, groovier sound, singer Laura-Mary Carter takes a back seat on this one as drummer Steven Ansell handles vocal duties and it’s a neck-bothering, bluesy thrill-ride.
