Anti-racism comedy night to take place in Dublin this weekend
Tickets for Stand Up Against Racism are available now.
Jason Byrne, Alison Spittle, Mike Rice and Chris Kent are among the comedians to take part in Stand Up Against Racism, a night of comedy to raise funds for rights organisations.
The show will take place at the Ambassador Theatre, Dublin, on Sunday, July 5.
Vittorio Angelone, Shane Daniel Byrne, Richie Bree, Martin Angolo, Killian Sundermann and William Thompson will also appear at the event.
Funds raised will go to Participation and the Practice of Rights, a small human rights NGO that aims to turn international human rights standards into grassroots tools for economic, social and environmental change.
The other beneficiary is the Anaka Women’s Collective, is a community-led group based in Belfast that supports refugees and asylum-seeking women through skill-sharing, education, and social support, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment.

Chris Kent, the acclaimed stand-up comedian who featured in the television series Young Offenders, described the production as a “great gig for a greater cause” on his Instagram page.
Also on the bill is Mike Rice, who recently took part in Hot Press’ rapid fire Q&A. Previously, the comedian joined Kent, Shane Daniel Byrne and Vittorio Angelone for a fundraising gig in support of Medical Aid for Palestinians in 2024.
Tickets for Stand Up Against Racism sell for €35.45 and are available now.
