The Hot Press Storeroom Sessions: Lloyd Cole
He stopped by for a chat and gave us three acoustic songs.
Three years on from the release of the folky, acoustic Broken Record Lloyd Cole has returned with a more electrified work in the form of the fan-funded Standards.
Currently promoting the new album – which recalls his early efforts with The Commotions – Cole called into Hot Press to play us a trio of songs.
You can hear them all – including his classic 'Perfect Skin' – below. He also talked to our own Roisin Dwyer about being inspired by Bob Dylan's latest record and his own change in direction.
Lloyd Cole plays Vicar St, Dublin, on November 2
