Ghostpoet at Forbidden Fruit - Speakeasy interview
The Mercury Prize nominee spoke to Craig Fitzpatrick in Kilmainham...
Just before he turned in a one of the sets of the Bank Holiday weekend in the Lighthouse tent, a very cool and very laidback Ghostpoet stopped by the Hot Press Speakeasy at Forbidden Fruit for a chinwag with our own Craig Fitzpatrick.
Along the way we learnt that he has an Irish dog (which apparently swam across the Irish sea to get to him). Also on the agenda was his brand new album, the transition from isolated bedroom songwriter to a place where his songs are being blared out at festivals, collaborations with Tony Allen, and why dim sum and noodles makes him feel alright. Captivating company, watch it below.
