Keith Donald to guest with Celine Carroll
When Celine Carroll plays The Cherrytree in Walkinstown in Dublin in October, she’ll be joined by Keith Donald, the former Moving Hearts sax and clarinet player.
After a successful short tour of the Netherlands and two previous sell-out shows at the same venue, Carroll returns with her pockets full of finely-crafted songs and delicious music. Taking her inspiration from artists as diverse as Paul McCartney, Carole King and Burt Bacharach, her music has been described as everything from soft jazz to damn fine acoustic soul.
Apart from Mr Donald, also joining Celine on stage on October 2 will be Jerry Fehily (drums), Johnny Campbell (bass), Paul Seymour (keyboards) and Siobhan Lennon (backing vocals).
The gig kicks off at 9pm and admission is €12.
