Peter Kay, has confirmed three Dublin dates
The hugely popular UK comedian, Peter Kay, has confirmed three dates at the O2 – in 2011.
Having already sold out a record-breaking 35,000 tickets for the Odyssey Arena, Belfast, plus a run of twenty nights at the Manchester Evening News Arena, Peter Kay's ‘Tour That Doesn't Tour Tour’ is coming to The O2, Dublin. The dates confirmed are Fri 29 April, Sat 30 April and Sun 1 May, 2011.
The dates are part of Kay’s first UK and Irish tour in seven years, since his award winning ‘Mum Wants A Bungalow Tour’.
"I'm delighted to be going back on tour and have been completely overwhelmed with the demand for tickets,” Kay, who is currently riding high at the top of the British charts with his animated all star band song for Children In Need, said. “It's going to be a great tour and I can't wait to get back on nights again."
“We have been delighted by the demand for tickets for Peter Kay’s five Odyssey Arena shows,” the manager of The Odyssey, Nicky Dunn commented. “The unprecedented demand for tickets secures a place for Peter Kay in our record books as being the fastest artiste to sell out multiple shows in under 2 hours.”
Tickets for the Dublin shows – limited to eight per purchaser – will be available from Monday 7th December. The shows are being promoted by MCD.
