Paddy Casey releases album Stateside
Paddy Casey's Addicted To Company get its US release this week.
Paddy Casey looks to follow his old mucker Glen Hansard into the US charts with the release there this week of Addicted To Company.
Having whetted appetites with a series of low-key club dates, Paddy switches into promo overdrive with an April 3 Letterman slot and supports with first Broken Social Scene’s Jason Collett and then KT Tunstall.
He’s also been made a 52/52 artist by MTV USA, which guarantees a week of plays for his Catherine Owens directed ‘Fear’ video; had Addicted To Company selected as the Artist Direct ‘Album Of The Week’; and been interviewed by both Billboard and the LA Times for major profile pieces.
Early days yet, but the omens are good.
