The Saw Doctors announce Christmas show and charity single
The globetrotting Saw Doctors will be paying a pre-Christmas visit to Dublin
Following on from their 16-date UK tour, the band will play Dublin's Olympia Theatre on December 16 before heading off to tour the USA in March 2008.
The Saw Doctors classic hit single, 'I Useta Lover' is also set to be re-released by RTE on October 26 on CD single and digital download, to raise money for the People in Need Telethon, which airs on the same day.
The Saw Doctors and Shamtown Records have waived all royalties from the sales and airplay of the single and as a result all profits from the re-release will go to People in Need.
These days, The Saw Doctors line-up is made up of the two founding songwriters, Davy Carton, and Leo Moran, with former Waterboy Anthony Thistlethwaite on bass guitar and saxophone, Eimhin Cradock on drums, and Kevin Duffy on keyboards.
Tickets for their December show are priced €31.80 and are on sale now from Ticketmaster
