Autamata: a band in demand
Ken McHugh is rapidly turning into this year’s Moby with a number of tracks from Autamata’s My Sanctuary album being licensed to American film and advertising companies.
Having graced the new Andie McDowell movie, Tara Road, with ‘Out Of This’, the Mayo man has just learned that Woody Allen wants to use ‘Postscript’ in the trailer for his latest romantic comedy, Match Point.
Due in December, it co-stars Scarlett Johansson and her fellow Hollywood A-Lister Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.
Due to demand from filmgoers, McHugh is planning to give My Sanctuary a long overdue American release in January, and reissue it in Ireland and the UK where it’s been deleted.
