Christmas comes early for k.d. lang fans with the lower-case chanteuse playing the Waterfront, Belfast (December 5) and the Olympia, Dublin (6).

Prior to that comes the release of Hymns Of The 49th Parallel, her new album which finds her covering such fellow Canadians as Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Jane Siberry, Ron Sexsmith and Bruce Cockburn.

Tickets priced €49 and €54 go on sale on Friday July 2.
