A new My Bloody Valentine album is "in the making"
The very good news has been revealed by Colm Ó Cíosóig.
Colm Ó Cíosóig has revealed that the follow-up to My Bloody Valentine’s 2013 comeback album, m b v, is on its way.
Asked the inevitable question whilst talking to Boston’s WBUR radio station, the drummer said: “I’ve been working on that preceding this tour, and I’m going to go back and work on that once the tour is done. It’s in the making.”
The tour Ó Cíosóig is referring to is the one he’s currently on in the US with Hope Sandoval and the latest incarnation of the Warm Inventions who are him and Dave Brennan, Mick Whelan and Al Browne from Dublin band Dirt Blue Gene.
As previously reported by Hot Press, his MBV bandmate Kevin Shields has teamed up with Brian Eno on the epic nine-minute long ‘Only Once Away My Son’.
