Willem Dafoe Joins the Justice League Bandwagon

The less than positive reviews Zack Synder's Batman Vs. Superman garnered hasn't deterred him from continuing on this Justice League path. Neither has it stopped Willem Dafoe from joining it.

It isn't the first time that Dafoe has meddled in the Marvel universe as he starred as the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's Spiderman.

Dafoe is now making the transfer into the DC's Justice League series. Whether he will be pledging his allegiance to the good side or the dark side remains somewhat unclear; cue the irresistible meme.

Reports suggest that he will be Willem Dafriend in this particular series and that he has already up to the two installments of Synder's Justice League. Dafoe will join Henry Cavill's Superman, Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Jason Monoa's Aquaman (and that's only the half of it!).

Dafoe is cast alongside fellow Spiderman cast member J.K Simmons. Simmons will play the iconic City Commissioner of Gotham, Gordon. The first movie is set for release for November 2017 whilst Part 2 will follow in June of 2019.

Plenty of superhero to chow down on in the meantime. And to round off, here's a picture of Willem Dafoe being a good guy!
