UK indie legends Primal Scream are the latest addition to an already stellar line up for this summers hottest indie gig along with Walking on Cars & Jake Bugg. Primal Scream are the latest to join Walking on Cars, Jake Bugg, Cast, Le Galaxie, Sigala and a whole new cohort of stand out Irish talent.
Primal Scream have released some ground breaking albums over an amazing career including Screamadelica, Vanishing Point and XTRMNTR, over whats been an impressive career. The band have managed to meld garage rock to psychedelia and indie pop to electonica, in a constantly evolving collective with a huge Irish following. INDIE18 offers up its annual top class Irish and international mix and today announced more excellent acts alongside an already top class line up.
Now in it's 13th year, Indiependence has grown into one of Ireland's biggest and most loved events of the year, drawing international acts like Basement Jaxx, Public Enemy, De La Soul and Editors to play alongside the best names in Irish music, in the scenic foothills of the Galtee Mountains.
