Bricknasty announce new EP forever

Dublin music group Bricknasty have announced a new EP forever, out November 6 via FAMM.

They have also shared a new single 'the dom perignons', taken from the 7-track EP.

forever is set to feature already-released songs 'bobinov' and 'honey bee'. The collection is "simultaneously a stripping-back of the complexity of Bricknasty's sound and a deeper exploration of their signature sonic approach," reads a statement.

"Before, we made it rocket science, but it's not rocket science," said frontman Fatboy. "It's easy - just nice riffs, nice parts."

forever follows their 2024 EP BLACKS LAW, a politically-charged collection that peaked at No. 7 on the Irish Independent Albums Chart. The EP propelled the band into a headline tour - including a number of Irish shows - along with a summer of festival appearances, including Dublin's Forbidden Fruit festival, London's All Points East and Gothenburg's Way Out West.

In the past, they've also shared stages with the likes of Coldplay at a sold-out Croke Park show, Aby Coulibaly, KNEECAP, Nas, Ezra Collective and more.

The genre-splicing music collective released their debut EP, INA CRUELER, in 2023. This was followed by 2024's XONGZ አስቀያሚ ጡብ.

In 2025, Bricknasty won Best Independent Video at the AIM Independent Music Awards for 'Vinland'. That same year, they were nominated for two awards at the RTÉ Choice Music Prize - Album of the Year for BLACKS LAW and Irish Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

This year, BLACKS LAW was nominated for Best Independent Mixtape/EP at the Independent Music Awards, alongside the likes of Jim Legxacy and Strandz.
