Fontaines D.C. debut in Top 10 of UK's Official Trending Chart with 'Tongue'

Fontaines D.C. have made their Top 10 debut in the UK Official Trending Chart with their new song 'Tongue.'

The band are currently No. 8 on the chart. 'Tongue' is the second single from their upcoming album Dopamine Chamber, which drops on October 16.

Their song 'Marianne' is currently No. 54 on the Official Singles Chart. It became their first single to score two weeks in the Top 40, with a peak of No.19. 'The Sun Will Never Settle' by Kingfishr also features at No. 86. It is also their first entry on the chart.

The UK's Official Trending Chart is based on the first four sales days of each chart week (that's Friday to Monday) and ranks those songs showing week-on-week growth on the Official Top 100 Singles Chart, limited to two tracks per artist.

The band were revealed as headliners for Primavera Sound Barcelona 2027 earlier this week. They also announced a North American tour last weekend, beginning in April 2027. Dates include Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Atlanta.
