Watch: New behind-the-scenes featurette for Will Smith's Bright has been released
Starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton, Bright is an alternative universe police action thriller that arrives on Netflix on 22nd December.
Directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad, End of Watch), the film follows two Los Angeles police officers from highly different backgrounds, with Smith playing Ward, a human, while Edgerton is Jakoby, an orc. Complete with the promise of "some hardcore deadly magic", the film experiments with the buddy cop trope in "a sinister underworld filled with gang violence and dark forces at work."
The behind-the-scenes featurette gives us an insight into Smith and Edgerton's partnership, while Ayer reflects on how their diverse backgrounds drive the story.
Bright also stars Noomi Rapace (Prometheus, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), comedian Margaret Cho, Edgar Ramirez (Joy, The Girl On The Train and Lucy Fry (Vampire Academy).
A new trailer will debut on 25th October, but until then, check out the new sneak peek below:
