Aidan Gillen to star in new UFO series

Aidan Gillen’s work schedule becomes even more impossibly hectic with the Dubliner bagging a starring role as astrophysicist and UFO sceptic Dr. J. Allen Hynek in Blue Book, the History Channel’s 10-part delve into X Files territory.

The storylines are based on the US Air Force’s 1950s and ‘60s Project Blue Book examinations of possible extraterrestrial phenomena.

As previously reported by Hot Press, Aidan is also appearing in the eagerly awaited Dave Allen biopic, the new series of Peaky Blinders and the Freddie Mercury biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody.
